Splainin’ to do. Settings.

For any who have stumbled into my writing, I realize it may be a bit confusing.

From here on I will clearly label where the stories occur.

For now I am just having fun and exploring the media.

I crave honest feedback so I can improve.

Here are the basics.

Autobiographical vignettes: obvious.

WORLD OF NATAL: this is THE ORPHANS & THE EGGS SERIES. It also includes THE SEDUCTIONS, which are prequel. These stories center around a group of demigod children snuck into a world their parents were cut off from. It begins in an Ice Age inspired setting.

WORLD OF JABOA: this is the LEGIONS OF LYRICK series. Here, rather than go off the medieval Europe trope, I base off of New World colonial flavour circa early 19th century. Another flavouring is that the ‘races’ are based on other hominids not having gone extinct. There are Neanderthals (Nanders), Denisovans (Sovanii), Heidelbegensis (Gensii), Floresiensis (Flirnii), hybrids and mongrels called Treole. Yes this is ridiculous but it works and is fun.

The heroes are special ops part of a renegade company. They are tasked with finding their missing leader. On the way much deeper and sinister plots are revealed.
